Blooming Potential of the Hibiscus by Laurie McWilliams

Under typical growing conditions, it is difficult to keep an exotic hibiscus in full bloom because so much of the plant’s energy goes into the unique bloom production.

The hibiscus pictured below has had between six and eight flowers in bloom all summer and is loaded with more potential blooms!  Even the cool wet weather we’ve experienced during this growing season, which would normally be a curse to the heat-loving hibiscus, has not slowed it down.  BioFlora Dry Crumbles® have made all the difference in this case, as this hibiscus was planted in three-year old potting soil that was very root bound.  The impact was made by the good bacteria that was added to the potting soil by BioFlora Dry Crumbles.  This addition offered the hibiscus the nutrients it needed to thrive, despite challenging weather conditions.
