Have you felt disappointed in your past outdoor furniture purchases and found yourself thinking about the good old days when things were made to stand the test of time?   As someone who grew up with cable reel picnic tables and Kmart’s finest webbed folding lawn chairs, outdoor furniture seemed like an investment for people who lived along romantic blue waters or in climates where at least nine months of the year were warm.  But things sure have changed!  We entertain at home more often and thus, have a strong desire to bring the outdoors in and extend our indoor space out.  We long to decompress, to connect with nature, and to make the most of the time we have away from work.   So where do you begin?

April is Community Garden Month

CopperTree is a champion of community gardens. Our effort is led by Mark McWilliams who has actively worked with McArthur Park Apartments and the Cook Street Food Garden in Springfield, IL. He is passionate about designing interactive opportunities to teach young people and adults the joy of getting their hands dirty, with the greater purpose of growing their own fresh fruits and vegetables.
